Were you born from November 1985 to November 1988? If so, you'd better listen, some life transforming energy has entered your life. I explained the concept of the Saturn Return already, so in this post I will shed some light on what Saturn in Sagittarius means for those Millennials who are weathering the storm.
I was born December 19, 1985 which means not only am I going through my Saturn Return in Sagittarius, but I'm also a Sagittarius sun sign! I get a double hit, and trust me, you do not want to ignore this influential time in your life.
If you are getting a call, a push towards a desire – please listen to it! Saturn says it's time to grow up, claim your passion, step into your purpose – or miss the boat and spend the next thirty years regretting it. Saturn plays hard. He is a strict guru who will settle for nothing less than hard work and relentless determination. You will be pushed to your limit. Imagine yourself as Rocky Balboa in the corner ring with a bloody nose and a black eye – if you run the steps and punch enough bags Saturn will train you to be victorious. The question is, are you going to say yes? He has already called you out. The transit started in December. Have childhood desires been coming up in your dreams? Have you been given opportunities to stretch but are too afraid to go after them? Well buckle up, because you are being given the tools for success right now, you just have to open your eyes and be brave.
Saturn in Sagittarius is a tug and pull. Saturn is strict, conservative and detail oriented. Sagittarius is expansive, rebellious and focused on the big picture. There are only two ways this relationship pans out – in total annihilation or as balanced opposing forces – the end result is really up to you. It's very important that you learn the lessons you are given from now until the end of the transit on December 19, 2017 (yes, that's my birthday).
Sagittarius is all about growth, higher education, philosophy and spirituality. If you are thinking about going back to school for that degree, or stepping out on a limb to travel the world. If you feel a calling to a career in philosophy, art, writing or leadership of any kind – NOW is the time. Don't expect to achieve success overnight though. In fact, you may not see the fruits of your labors until after the transit. Remember – Saturn moves slowly, methodically and with precision. Sagittarius' are known for making irrational movements the second their spirit feels called to it (this is a true fact, I can attest to it personally). This is not the time to exhibit that characteristic. Dreamers sometimes have difficulty with the more mundane aspects of manifesting. It's easy for us to live in our heads, to paint all day or to crank out a novel. But, when it's time to build a website, try to find a gallery or go on a book tour – the first instinct is to run for the hills. However, if we want our purposes to be fulfilled – we have to learn how to take the necessary steps to truly achieve a positive end result. Saturn will be here to take those creative forces that have been chaotically stewing in the spirits of Generation Y and organize them into actionable steps that will lead slowly but surely toward success.
A lot of your baggage will come up during the next few years. Everything your parents did to piss you off as a kid, the professor in college that wrote a big fat F on your amazing essay, the fears and doubts that hold you back – all of it will be laid out on the table. Do yourself a favor and don't suppress it, and whatever you do – don't go through it alone. Find a best friend, a lover, a trusted family member and a counselor. Start Journaling, hit the gym, turn up the music and dance it out, because finding a way to channel the emotion that will rise to the surface is an important part of dealing with your issues.
It will be a hard road to walk – but if you truly want this life to mean something it's worth doing what it takes. When your 60 years old, sitting on the porch drinking your coffee or tea and reflecting on the better part of your adult life – think about what will have made you proud – and do what it takes to make those memories while your living those years. Don't throw away this opportunity, the Universe only gives us two or three chances at most to revisit this. Your Saturn Return at 30 years old truly sets the tone for your entire life – don't be afraid – be inspired. Go out there and kick ass. Let the world know what you have to bring to the table, we desperately need you and your unique gifts and skills.
