The Heart Chakra teaches the lesson of meeting the demands of our Inner Self. The Throat Chakra teaches us a similar lesson about our Received Selves. It is through the throat that we find expression in it's simplest form. When we have ideas floating around in our mind, they remain personal and stay secret to others. The moment we declare with our vocal cords, and formulate our thoughts in a way that is shared and communicated with others, we are manifesting it in third dimensional reality.
Language is one of the most advanced evolutionary tools humans have created. Without the ability to speak and be understood by others, it would be extremely difficult to do anything as a group. We couldn't pass on stories to our children, explain complex ideas, or move people into action with influential speeches. Words are what allows us to grow and expand, it is because of words that you are able to read this guidebook and I am able to create it for you.
As soon as words are uttered, creation becomes. In Kabbalah, it is said that God created the world with ten utterances. In the Christian Bible, John 1:1 says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” And in Hindu philosophy (from which the Chakra System originated) it is said the Universe was created through the vibration of sound. Aum or Om represent the fullness of that creation and the trinity of Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva.
The Throat Chakra becomes blocked when we have issues with expressing ourselves because we either don't want to or don't think we are capable of meeting other peoples expectations. The way you are being received is not aligned with how you want to be seen, or they demand something that feels inauthentic or unattainable.
Words can create and inspire. But, they can just as easily destroy. When our language is used to demean others we become energy vampires, stealing other peoples voices and hope and pouring them into our holes to try fill us back up. We end up creating the same destructive emotions that caused us to give up on ourselves. It starts a vicious cycle where countless peoples lives are depleted and cut off from universal energy.
When we allow jealousy or haters to destroy our voice, we take our gifts and throw them away.
Don't let anyone or anything shut you up.
Sing out and speak out and show everyone just how beautiful you can be.
